SOSNA is a 501(c)(3) neighborhood association and registered community organization (RCO) in the city of Philadelphia. SOSNA's top priority is to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood by:

-
Serving as a reliable resource for residents and businesses
-
Promoting our local businesses, neighborhood events and civic involvement
-
Creating awareness around relevant news and information

SOSNA is committed to creating programs and initiatives that cultivate a diverse and inclusive neighborhood and we strive to embrace the rich history of our neighborhood.

In 2021, SOSNA began working with Preservation Alliance to research and propose a Historic Designation over sections of Christian Street, a street that holds a rich history in this city. In 2022, City Council unanimously approved this Historic Designation, named Black Doctor's Row. You can read more about that effort here.
