Join the SOSNA Elections Steering Committee

SOSNA is reforming and streamlining its annual General Election for Board of Directors, and you can help! SOSNA is currently seeking community members to serve on the Elections Steering Committee. This Committee will report to the SOSNA Board of Directors and be responsible for researching and proposing updated guidelines for the SOSNA General Election. Timeline

The Steering Committee will meet from February-July 2023. During this period, the Steering Committee will do research and outreach to determine best practices for the SOSNA General Election, which is held every October.

The Steering Committee will present final proposals to the SOSNA Board of Directors for adoption by vote.

Who can serve on the Steering Committee?

Anyone residing in the SOSNA boundaries* can join!

*SOSNA Boundaries: South Street to Washington Ave. from the Schuylkill River to Broad Street.
