Have you ever wanted to try composting or are looking for ways to reduce your household trash?!  Now you can try it and compost for free at SOSNA's Community Compost Hub!

Starting September 10th, 2022, come visit us every Saturday from 9:30-10:30am*  to drop your household compost at Carpenter Green Park!  Every week, our partners at Circle Compost

will take our neighborhood food scraps and make them into

nutrient-rich compost.  Please see below for the Compost Guidelines**

to get started composting today!

 

This is a 6 month pilot program being funded by a grant award from

the Office of the Mayor of Philadelphia.  For SOSNA to make this a

long-term resource for our community, we need your help!  Please

consider making a $5-7 monthly monthly donation to help support

this program and keep Grad Hospital getting greener!

partnering in this community effort.

*Holidays may affect these hours.  Updated hours will be posted to this site throughout the year.  Please check below.

**These items are capable of being composted in our partner's facility.  Our volunteers will be helping to monitor these items at drop-off.  Too many ineligible items will result in a possible fine, which we would love to avoid!
